Why your profile matters
Your profile is the foundation of every scholarship recommendation you receive. The more complete it is, the more accurate and personalised your matches will be.
GPA
Many scholarships have a minimum GPA requirement. Without yours, we can't filter out scholarships you're ineligible for — and your match scores will be less precise. Even an approximate GPA helps.
Major / Field of Study
STEM scholarships, arts grants, and major-specific awards all depend on this field. If you're undecided, choose your most likely area — you can update it at any time.
State
Many awards are state-specific or give preference to in-state students. Your state helps us surface local and regional opportunities you'd otherwise miss.
Academic Year
Some scholarships are only open to incoming freshmen, current juniors, or graduate students. Your year filters out ones you're not yet eligible for.
First-Generation Status
A large number of scholarships specifically support first-generation college students. If this applies to you, make sure it's set to Yes — it unlocks a whole category of opportunities.
Activities
List clubs, sports, volunteer work, jobs, or community involvement. The more specific you are, the better we can match you to leadership awards, community-service scholarships, and activity-specific grants.
Background
This free-text field is your chance to share anything not covered above — your heritage, a personal challenge you've overcome, a career goal, or a cause you care about. This field has a big impact on match quality, especially for essay-based or story-driven scholarships.
Tip: Update your profile whenever something changes (new GPA, a new activity, a change of major). Your recommendations improve with every update.
